What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we delete:
- Your account profile, including your name, email address, phone number, and company details
- Your projects, estimates, invoices, schedules, submittal packages, contracts under review, and other work records you created
- Files you uploaded, including photos, videos, voice notes, drawings, and project documents
- Field captures (TradesIP sessions) and toolbox talk records tied to your account
- Your token wallet balance and retainer hours balance (any remaining balance is forfeited on deletion — it is not refunded)
What is kept, and for how long
- Purchase and financial records: we keep records of token-pack and subscription purchases (amount, date, and transaction reference) for 7 years after the purchase, for tax and accounting purposes. These records do not include your full payment card details, which we do not store.
- Anonymised usage records: aggregated, anonymised statistics that can no longer identify you may be kept indefinitely.
- Legal holds: if a record is subject to a legal obligation or an active dispute, we keep that record until the obligation or dispute is resolved.
Nothing else is kept after deletion. Deleted files and work records cannot be recovered.
Team and company accounts
- If you are a member of a company team, deleting your account removes your access to that company and deletes your personal account data. The company's shared work records remain with the company.
- If you are the owner of a company, you must transfer ownership to another team member first, or delete the company workspace with your account. If you delete your owner account without transferring ownership, the company workspace and its shared records are deleted with it, and remaining team members lose access to that workspace.
- Team members' own personal accounts are not deleted when a company owner deletes theirs — they only lose access to that company.
